Vacuum is used in your car to operate the cruise control, the four wheel drive, the vents in your heating and air conditioning, your emissions system and the tuning and performance of your engine. Now that’s something significant!
I handle dozens of questions every day with regard to lack of performance or complete failure of one or more of the functions listed above.
Now imagine you’re a small rubber hose. Just from 20 years of age you will dry out and develop cracks and LEAKS. Now add to that the magical aging ingredient – heat from the engine – and you shorten the life of the rubber faster.
Most Grand Wagoneer owners take one look at that engine and all the various hoses and close the hood. It’s intimidating. A mechanic can do it for you, but at $75 an hour it can really cost you big bucks.
My idea was to create a kit that was easy to understand, foolproof and complete.
Good sense alone tells you that, before you start buying new equipment, you should get your vacuum system operating correctly. In most cases, the “defective parts” are exonerated and the problem is solved. The bonus is when you see how much better everything else on the chain works.

Just wanted to drop you a line to say thanks for the Vacuum line and hood insulation kits. I installed everything the day after the box arrived and "Ol' Blue" is running better than ever. The directions for replacing the vacuum lines were easy enough to follow and I really appreciated the color-coded zip-ties for the different gauge tubing. The Insulation kit fit perfectly of course and I can't believe the noise reduction it provides.
